A radiation therapist (RTT) is an integral member of the cancer management team. RTTs work under the supervision of radiation oncologists (physicians who use radiation to treat cancer) in the management, control, and care of patients receiving radiation therapy. On average, radiation therapy technologists with experience earn $22.23/hour.
